well, it does not suprise me that the rover has a failure to communicate...a mission over 100 million miles is no small undertaking...i have not blogged since this spacecraft shutdown, and, furthermore, i am glad i made no text foresight writing as is found below....i know that the next rover "opportunity" has a touch down about a day and hours from this type....if we get on the ground of mars with even on pic....i think that could be a positive sign...the odds of both rovers operating at the same time is like a band hitting the right musical notes....cross your fingers on this one....one bad spike in the puter program and silence rules the nightMission to Mars

how about that.....the rover spirit got out of it's parking spot without a fender airbag bender.

mars craft is parked and ready to look at rocks.....so if the rover has to back out of the garage instead of going forward....than, let us hope that ground control JPL has passed their parallel parking test.......all systems are caution at the time of this blog post.................................!

now it is time to see if the first mars lander in the 21st century can land right side up after bouncing around on the martian surface with air bags as it's feet. europe failed last year during their xmas trek and landing......i think the usa has a better chance.....and, we got a back up due to land about a month from this blog................
